Auto silence remover

CutMute detects and removes pauses, breaths and dead air from your video or audio automatically (jump cut), with an adjustable decibel threshold. It's the heart of the app: hours of manual editing done in seconds.

Background noise reduction

Removes hiss, hum and low rumble from phone or noisy-room recordings, and lowers the volume of pauses where only background noise remains.

Volume leveling (normalization)

Files above 250MB (streams and long VODs) enter VOD mode: the audio is analyzed lightweight, silence detection works the same, and the output is an EDL — Premiere/DaVinci cuts the original file with no re-render, no quality loss.

Export EDL, SRT and FFmpeg scripts

Export an EDL timeline (CMX 3600) for Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut, an SRT caption file, or .bat/.sh scripts for lossless cutting on your computer.
